A review of Labour's broadband policy

The Labour party recently announced its broadband policy. Key elements of this policy are:

  • The nationalisation of Openreach and other parts of BT
  • The deployment of nationwide FTTP
  • Free broadband for all consumers and businesses

Robert Kenny has written a paper reviewing this proposal, considering its impact on various stakeholders, including tax payers, the telecoms industry, customers, employees, and society more generally.
